CS5265 is a high-performance Type-C/DP1.4 to HDMI2.0 converter, designed to connect USB type c source or DP1.4 source to HDMI2.0b receiver. CS5265 integrates a DP1.4 compatible receiver and HDMI2.0b compatible transmitter.

The DP interface includes 4 main channels, auxiliary channels and HPD signals. The receiver supports a maximum data rate of 5.4Gbps (HBR2) per channel. The DP receiver combines HDCP1.4 and HDCP2.3 content protection schemes with embedded keys for the secure transmission of digital audio and video content.

The HDMI interface includes 4 minimum transmission differential signal clock/data pairs, DDC and HPD signals. The HDMI transmitter can support data rates up to 6Gpbs, which is sufficient to handle video resolutions up to FHD 1080p 120Hz in UHD 4k 60Hz format. The HDMI transmitter includes an HDCP engine that supports HDCP1.4 and HDCP2.3. Due to the inclusion of HDCP, CS5265 allows secure transmission of protected content. The embedded key provides the highest level of HDCP key security.
